KipwareTRK®'s Tracking Concept
Organizing the data

KipwareTRK® allows you to organize your quoting data under a number of different criterias.

  • Customer Name
  • Part Description - the user can define up to 1,000 entries in this database area that can be used to describe the type of workpiece in detail from the simple such as "TURNING" to more detailed such as "TURNING on OKUMA #1" to anything the user desires.
  • Quote Quantity
  • Material - the user can define up to 1,000 entries in this database area that define the type of material being used for the workpiece.
  • Quoted Price
  • Quote Action -- Submitted or Not Submitted.
  • Quote Result -- Job Awarded or Job Lost.
  • Quote History - the user can store up to 1,000 entries that describe the part, process or any other feature unique to the particular job or shop criteria in general.

KipwareTRK®'s Sorting Concept
Viewing the data

KipwareTRK®'s unique SORT feature is where the user can tie all the database entries together and put the power of KipwareTRK® to use. Using any of the various database files outlined above, the user can SORT their quotations per that database's criteria. Some examples of how KipwareTRK® can be used :

  • Sort the quotes by Customer Name - easily see jobs pending, due dates or quotation history for a particular customer.
  • Sort the quotes by Quantity - easily see all the "big" jobs or "small" jobs on the shop floor ... or track the quantity size of orders you are winning.
  • Sort the quotes by Material - use this feature to help keep en eye on your stock inventory.
  • Sort the quotes by Price - use this feature for your bottom line ... which jobs should get a priority status based on cash flow.
  • Sort the quotes by History - use this feature to help sort work on your shop floor using any user-defined criteria such as
    • Early Delivery
    • Job behind schedule
    • Material not received
    • ... or whatever criteria you need.
